Attorney William J. Wright starting practicing law in 1977 in Columbus, GA. At that time, we was one of a handful of African-American attorneys in the area. He maintained a general practice with a focus on criminal defense and family law. He was instrumental in starting the Fountain City Bar Association, a minor bar association started by and for African-American lawyers in the Chattahoochee Valley area.

Attorney W. Wright was took pride in helping marginalized individuals and speaking up for those without a voice. Exhibiting excellent trial skills, he successfully tried over 500 jury trials. He served as a Recorders Court Judge.

William Wright is currently serving as Of-Counsel for The Wright Legal Group.
